Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for an Occupational Therapist. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing therapy programs to support clients in improving their independence and quality of life. Key tasks include collaborating with clients, families, and other professionals, providing tailored rehabilitation plans, addressing individual needs, and documenting overall progress. The role may also involve working with pediatric clients as part of comprehensive care plans.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation, and relevant practices in promoting client progress and well-being.
* Medical knowledge to inform therapeutic strategies and ensure effective care delivery.
* Proficiency in working with pediatric clients to address their unique needs and challenges.
* Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Empathy, problem-solving abilities, and a client-centered approach to care delivery.
* Degree in Occupational Therapy and eligibility for relevant professional registration in Australia.
* Previous experience with NDIS services and familiarity with its processes is advantageous but not essential.
