We are partnering with a large, nationally operating FMCG organisation to recruit an experienced Supply Planner to support forecasting, supplier engagement and replenishment across a multi‑warehouse network. This role sits within a collaborative supply chain environment and plays a critical part in delivering optimal service levels, cost outcomes and inventory performance across a broad, fast‑moving portfolio.
Your new role
Reporting to the Supply Manager, you will manage end‑to‑end supply planning activities across multiple categories, ensuring strong supplier performance, accurate forecasting, and smooth operational execution.
Key responsibilities include:Managing order placement into warehouses across multiple supplier categories.Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support reliable supply outcomes.Acting as a subject matter expert on forecasting and supply planning processes.Representing the supply function in meetings covering seasonal planning, supplier availability and stock management.Working closely with state and retail supply teams on forecast accuracy, short codes, aged stock and operational queries.Supporting product changeovers, new line launches and supplier‑driven changes.Managing baseline, new line and seasonal forecasts for your assigned portfolio.Communicating supply plans and forecast information to suppliers regularly.Owning communication around out‑of‑stocks, aged stock and short‑code items.Managing supplier constraints, stock builds and investment purchasing requirements.Supporting fair‑share allocation across state‑based distribution networks.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will bring strong analytical capability, excellent communication skills, and experience working within fast‑paced FMCG supply chains.
You will ideally have:Experience in Supply Planning or Demand Planning within an FMCG environment.Experience working with large SKU ranges and multi‑location networks.Strong capability in analysing, challenging and improving demand plans.Proven stakeholder management experience across suppliers and internal teams.Experience with advanced planning systems; Blue Yonder (JDA) exposure is highly regarded.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex data sets).Strong organisational skills, detail orientation and the ability to manage competing priorities.
