Job Role:
A paediatric speech pathologist is required to provide assessment and therapy services for children of various ages, as well as adults in a limited capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their caseload, working independently at outreach locations, and communicating with clients and stakeholders through phone calls, emails, and session feedback forms.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assessment and intervention strategies for children across the lifespan
* Caseload management and prioritization
* Solo work at outreach locations, including communication with clients and stakeholders
* Reporting on client progress and other key metrics
* Administrative tasks related to client care, such as diary management and rebooking appointments
* Presentation at professional development sessions and events
* Participation in community-based initiatives, such as group sessions and educational seminars
* Ongoing supervision and professional growth opportunities
Requirements:
* Degree or higher in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution
* Current registration with the relevant professional body
* Experience working with children, particularly in a therapeutic setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in using digital tools and software
