To help us achieve our Mission, we are seeking capable and person-centredAdvanced Skill Therapy Assistant to provide safe and quality care to clients at our The Cove Residential Aged Care site located in Mandurah .
This rewarding position is offering 70 hours per fortnight working Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 3.30pm, however start time can be flexible.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience working as an Advanced Therapy Assistant, specifically supporting our clients

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:
* Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Aged Care/Disability) and or progress towards an Allied Health Professional tertiary
* Experience working as an Advanced Therapy Assistant and with dementia specific care
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
* A positive, proactive and client focused approach
* A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
* Western Australian C class Driver's licence
* Current First Aid Certificate
Responsibilities include:
* Provision of goal directed therapy programs in accordance with their Care Plan in group or individual settings
* Provision of recreational based activities to meet the social and emotional needs of clients
* Contributing to the development of innovative therapy programs to improve the wellbeing of our clients
* Supporting volunteers to enhance the site therapy program
* Contributing to site reporting, accreditation standards and legislative compliance by completing all documentation and reporting incidents
