HR Business Partner – Location: Merrylands, NSW, Sydney; Hours: 40 per week (Mon–Fri); Rate: $50–$60 per hour
We're looking for an ambitious and motivated HR Business Partner to join a busy team on a contract basis. This role requires a hands-on, "door-knocker" approach — someone ready to take initiative, drive recruitment efforts, and support key HR processes across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead full-cycle recruitment, including headhunting and talent sourcing via LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek, Indeed, and other platforms.
* Support managers and staff across the business with HR initiatives, providing guidance and coaching on workplace issues (including sensitive conversations, handled professionally).
* Assist with employee engagement, onboarding, performance management, and HR process improvements.
* Collaborate with leadership to implement HR strategies that support business growth and culture.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in headhunting and recruitment for diverse roles.
* Comfortable using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and CRMs for talent management.
* Confident, proactive, and able to handle workplace conversations with tact.
* Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
