About the role
As the successful applicant, your duties as a Sheet Metal Fabricator will include but not be limited to:
* installing and assembling sheet metal products
* Bending/pressing of sectional & plate steel
* bolting and riveting metal products where needed
* efficiently operating machines while minimizing wastage
* adhering to onsite OH&S procedures.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
* Full Australian work rights essential (we cannot accept applicants without them)
* Min. 2 years previous experience in operating/bending/pressing steel & bench-top tools (incl. Press Brake and Guillotine)
* Demonstrated proficiency in fabricating sheet metal products based on technical drawings
* Ability to interpret basic drawings and specifications
* Sound knowledge of sheet metal assembly techniques
* Forklift license highly regarded.
