Job Title: Executive Coordinator
The role of an Executive Coordinator is multifaceted and requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
This position involves coordinating the diary and mailbox of a senior executive, providing timely support across various functions, and operating in a dynamic environment with competing priorities and heavy work pressures.
Responsibilities may include managing schedules, handling correspondence, and making travel arrangements.
Special Conditions:
* An ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
* Sometimes out-of-hours work will be required.
* A flexible approach to taking annual leave is required.
* Interstate travel may be required for specific events.
* The incumbent will be required to participate in performance review processes.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience in providing high-level executive support.
* Excellent communication skills with experience in liaising with internal and external stakeholders and senior executives.
* Proven experience in organising and maintaining relevant documentation for meetings.
* Government experience is highly regarded but not essential.
* Experience in the defence or space sector will be highly regarded.
* Able to develop and implement innovative solutions to adapt to changes within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Ability to work under pressure.
