What you will do
**In the Principal Education Officer role, you will**:
- lead teams of casual writers and assessors to support the development of curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment products and services
- lead teams of casual writers and assessors to quality assure school-devised assessments and school judgements and to develop and mark external assessments
- work collaboratively with Principal Project Officers and Activity Managers to ensure alignment of products and services with whole of organisation directions, policies and procedures
- revise and redevelop curriculum products and resources including senior syllabuses and guidelines
- provide timely and high-quality client focussed assistance and support to schools, teachers and other key stakeholders
- provide expert advice to Learning Area Managers and Directors on issues related to the implementation of senior curriculum and assessment
- lead forums, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities
Reporting relationships
This role reports to the Manager (Science). Up to 10 roles report directly to this role.
