Our client is a large, well-established enterprise who are expanding their customer platform engineering team. The team is responsible for building and enhancing shared digital capabilities used across multiple customer‐facing products and channels.
This is a 6 month initial day rate contract role (with view to extend) and is ideal for frontend engineers who has experience working at scale, enjoys collaborating in cross‐functional teams, and can deliver high-quality UI solutions in complex environments.
Hybrid with 2 days in office.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to customer‐facing platforms and reusable capabilities used across multiple products.
* Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers.
* Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for performance, accessibility, security, and maintainability.
* Integrate with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
* Participate in Agile delivery ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions.
* Support and evolve enterprise design systems and UI standards.
Required Experience
* Strong commercial experience as a Front End Engineer within large or enterprise‐scale organisations.
* Experience with modern state management solutions (e.g. Redux, React Query, Zustand).
* Familiarity with front‐end testing practices (Jest, Testing Library, Cypress).
* Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross‐functional Agile teams.
