The Role
The Administration Officer is responsible for a broad range of administrative support functions. You will be the first point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring services are delivered professionally, confidentially and in line with Centacare policies and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide reception and administrative services in a confidential and sensitive service environment.Act as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and stakeholders, delivering respectful and high-quality customer service to individuals, couples and victims of domestic and family violence.Deliver efficient administrative support to staff and management, including document preparation, correspondence, scheduling, and office accurate data entry, records management, and statistical reporting using organisational systems and Microsoft Office reports and documentation with a high level of accuracy, discretion, and professionalism.Exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive effectively and professionally with clients, colleagues, management, and community stakeholders.Work collaboratively and flexibly as part of a professional team, including cooperation with CFRS teams.Manage competing priorities, work under pressure, and maintain service standards in a busy environment.
You Will Bring
Well-developed administration skills, including accurate data entry, document production and strong computer literacy.Experience providing reception support in a human services or similar environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of professionalism.Strong judgment, discretion and sensitivity when handling confidential ability to work collaboratively within a team and flexibly across services.
