Financial Leadership Opportunity
A respected not-for-profit organisation is seeking a Senior Financial Leader to optimise business performance and lead the implementation of a new finance system.
This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the aged care space as the organisation enters a new phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement financial strategies to support decision-making at the highest level
* Lead a focused finance team, fostering growth and driving improved financial operations
* Manage funding activities end-to-end, including tender submissions, grant applications, contract oversight, and reporting—covering aged care funding such as RAD/DAP and AN-ACC
* Develop comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and cash flow models to ensure robust financial planning
* Oversee procurement processes and implement cost management strategies to maximise value and control expenses
* Handle financial risk assessments and insurance programs, ensuring all regulatory and compliance standards are met
Requirements:
* Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business and CA or CPA qualification
* Significant experience in a senior finance role within aged care, healthcare, or the not-for-profit sector
* Strong understanding of aged care funding models (RAD/DAP/Bond, AN-ACC) and compliance framework
* High proficiency in Excel, Word, and accounting systems
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop a finance team
* Excellent written and verbal communication, including confident board-level reporting
* Ability to balance day-to-day delivery with long-term planning and project management
* Alignment with the mission and values of aged care and community-focused work
