About the Role
The Executive Assistant is responsible for high level administrative and executive support to the Faculty leadership team which consists of the Dean of Law, five (5) Associate Deans (Research, Education, Academics, International and Indigenous Leadership and Engagement) and the Faculty General Manager to assist in the efficient and effective management of the Dean's Unit and the Faculty.
The incumbent will ensure accurate, timely and appropriate response to the varies administrative demands of the Dean's unit in its interaction with the faculty and across the University.
Due to the service nature of the role, the incumbent will be required to work a minimum of 4 days per week onsite, with Mondays being flexible to work from home based on work area requirements. There may be the occasional need to work after hours for ad-hoc assistance at events.
If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for:
• Providing high-level administrative and executive support to the Dean's Unit and Executive Team.
• Coordinating recruitment, contracts, onboarding, and staff performance management processes.
• Managing key inboxes, communications, and internal publications in a timely and professional manner.
• Organising executive meetings, events, visitors, travel, and expenses.
• Maintaining accurate records, systems, and administrative processes in line with university policies.

1. Demonstrated experience working as an executive assistant
2. Strong organisational and planning skills, including the ability to prioritise workloads, work under pressure and remain flexible to changing priorities.
3. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. The ability to communicate with stakeholders within an academic setting is highly desirable.
4. Ability to work with limited supervision, and to work within a small team with a willingness to help others.
Remuneration & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $83,906 - $95,989 pa (HEW 5)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis for 5 months.
