Financial Director
The Financial Controller role is a senior position within the finance team, responsible for overseeing group level financial accounting, reporting and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have significant practical experience in a similar corporate role, with strong financial and commercial modelling and analysis skills.
About the Role
This is a permanent role based in St Leonards with hybrid opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of skilled professionals, providing leadership and development opportunities to ensure the team's success. Key Responsibilities include:
* Month end accounts, including reviewing results, conducting variance analysis and working with business partners to understand drivers or corrections
* Preparation of consolidated statutory financial statements
* Identify, raise and provide insights and recommendations for improvement on financial accounting issues, risks and internal controls based on interpretation of accounting standards, best practice and other changes to reporting frameworks
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* CA qualified with Big 4 background
* Strong financial and business partnering skills
* Experience managing a team of skilled professionals
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with senior stakeholders and ability to present technical information to non-finance executives
