About the Role:
Join our team as a Domestic Family & Sexual Violence Prevention Specialist. As a key member of our education department, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing strategies to prevent domestic family and sexual violence within our schools.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver evidence-based programs to prevent domestic family and sexual violence among young people
* Work closely with teachers and staff to identify and support students at risk of experiencing or perpetrating domestic family and sexual violence
* Collaborate with community agencies to provide comprehensive support services for students and their families
* Develop and maintain relationships with local service providers to ensure seamless referrals and support
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in domestic family and sexual violence prevention and intervention
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years' experience working in domestic family and sexual violence prevention and intervention
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, teachers, staff, and community members
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Familiarity with local community resources and services
