Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and refine policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and address emerging issues.
* Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate risk considerations into strategic planning and execution, promoting a culture of risk awareness and accountability.
* Establish and maintain integrated reporting mechanisms to provide timely insights into risk management activities, governance effectiveness, and compliance status.
* Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and participate in regulatory consultations.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* University-level qualifications in finance, law, business management, or economics.
* Experience in governance, regulatory compliance, or legal areas, particularly within the financial services sector.
* Strong understanding of Legal, Risk, and Compliance frameworks, with the ability to interpret and apply legislative requirements strategically.
* Proven ability to analyse data and prepare comprehensive reports related to risk profiles and compliance plans.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior executives and boards.
