About the Role
Located approximately 150km southwest of Townsville, the Mt Carlton Gold Mine forms part of Queensland's historic Charters Towers goldfield, one of Australia's most established gold-producing regions. As operations ramp up under new leadership, the site is entering an exciting new phase of production, creating strong opportunities for experienced operators to be part of its next chapter.

We are seeking experienced Excavator Operators with strong hard rock open-cut experience to join the production team. You will play a key role in safe and efficient material movement, working in a structured production environment supporting the mine restart.
What We're Looking For
* Demonstrated experience operating production excavators in hard rock open-cut mining
* Experience on large-scale mining excavators (e.g. Hitachi EX1200 / Liebherr 9150 class equipment)
* Strong understanding of load and dump procedures in open-pit environments
* Strong understanding of open-pit safety systems and compliance
* Ability to work collaboratively in a high-performing production team
* Commitment to safety, responsibility, pride, and respect
