The Role
We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated test and delivery solutions across complex enterprise technology platforms. In this role, you will work closely with delivery teams to improve quality, reduce manual effort, and support predictable, high‐quality releases.
You will play a key role in embedding automation into the delivery lifecycle, supporting continuous integration, testing, and deployment activities while ensuring solutions meet functional and non‐functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions to support functional, integration, and regression testing.
* Work closely with delivery teams to embed automation into Agile and CI/CD pipelines.
* Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency through test automation and tooling.
* Develop and maintain reusable automation frameworks and scripts.
* Support system, integration, and end‐to‐end testing activities across multiple environments.
* Collaborate with developers, testers, and delivery leads to ensure test coverage and quality standards are met.
* Support release activities by ensuring automated tests are executed as part of deployment workflows.
* Maintain test documentation, automation artefacts, and supporting technical documentation.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices, tools, and standards.
What You'll Need
* Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or Test Automation Specialist within enterprise delivery environments.
* Strong experience designing and implementing automated testing solutions.
* Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery teams.
* Understanding of software development lifecycles and CI/CD practices.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, testers, and delivery teams.
* Strong problem‐solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
* Experience working in regulated or complex enterprise environments is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with common automation tools, frameworks, and test management practices is an advantage.
