The Role
In this role, you aren't just behind a desk; you are the face of the branch. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them navigate their daily banking needs while looking for ways to add real value to their financial lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Engagement: Delivering exceptional, personalized service to every customer who walks through the door.
* Needs Discovery: Having proactive conversations to understand customer goals and identifying products or services that fit.
* Referrals & Growth: Connecting customers with specialists (like Home Lending experts) to ensure they have the best support.
* Compliance & Accuracy: Ensuring all transactions and applications meet strict regulatory and internal standards (attention to detail is your best friend here).
What We're Looking For
A background in banking or finance is not essential to thrive here, but you do need a "can-do" attitude and a genuine love for sales and service.
* Sales Savvy: You have previous experience in a customer‐facing sales‐driven environment (retail, hospitality, or telecommunications).
* Communication: You can explain complex products simply and build rapport with customers quickly.
* Adaptability: You're comfortable in a fast‐paced environment where no two days are the same.
* Banking Experience (Bonus): If you've worked in a bank before, great! If not, we'll provide the training.
