The Opportunity
As Care Manager, you'll provide professional leadership across clinical care, compliance, and team development, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, and person-centred care aligned with the Aged Care Quality Standards. Working closely with the Service Manager, you'll drive clinical excellence, mentor teams, and support the ongoing growth of the service.
* Leading and mentoring clinical, lifestyle, and allied health teams
* Overseeing care planning, medication management, and clinical governance
* Managing admissions, discharges, and case conferences
* Ensuring compliance with accreditation, legislation, and AN-ACC requirements
* Supporting quality improvement, infection control, and risk management
* Contributing to service development and continuous improvement initiatives
* Managing clinical rosters, resources, and budgets in partnership with the Service Manager
What You'll Bring
* Tertiary qualification in Nursing with current AHPRA registration
* Demonstrated clinical leadership experience in residential aged care
* Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation, and compliance
* Experience leading teams, managing performance, and supporting staff development
* Confidence in care planning, funding processes, and clinical documentation
* A collaborative, person-centred leadership style aligned with values-based care
