We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end accounts function and plays a critical part in ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and effective financial operations across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to support efficient revenue processes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Daily banking and reconciliation activities
* Processing and managing tasks relating to Medicare and Private Health Funds
* Billing, quoting, debt collection, and associated customer services
* Supporting month-end processes and reporting requirements
* Maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with internal procedures
What we are looking for
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Competency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to meet deadlines
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
* Knowledge of the Medicare Benefits Schedule will be highly regarded but is not essential
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
