About the role
DDCS Lawyers is seeking a talented Lawyer to join our growing Family Law and Estates and Future Planning Law teams.
As a Lawyer in our Canberra office, you will play a key role in providing high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients.
What you'll be doing
Advising clients on all aspects of family law or estates and future planning law
Preparing and reviewing legal documents and correspondence
Representing clients in court proceedings and mediations
Collaborating with other lawyers and professionals to deliver comprehensive legal solutions
Maintaining a strong understanding of relevant legislation, case law, and best practices in family law, estates and future planning law
Providing exceptional client service and building lasting relationships with clients
What we're looking for
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in family law and/or estates and future planning law (preferred but not essential)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner
Strong client service focus and the ability to build trust with clients
Collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Passion for staying up-to-date with legal developments and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
