About The Role
We're looking for a senior operator to join Akura as a Team Leader in our precast facility. Whether you're an experienced Team Leader with a strong background in factory or production environments, or someone with hands‐on experience in construction or a related industry, we'd love to hear from you. If you have a trade qualification—such as a carpenter, cabinetmaker, builder, concreter, roofer, or steel fixer—or a strong eye for detail and experience in formwork, carpentry, or similar tasks, this is a great opportunity to join us as a senior operator.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure specifications are achieved and inventory is used efficiently.
* Execute daily tasks to meet production, quality assurance (QA), and logistics targets.
* Meet targets while managing resources within budgetary constraints.
* Maintain a safe workplace and prioritise team wellness.
* Complete necessary machine training and sign off on Safe Operating Procedures before use.
* Lead designated teams to achieve daily targets and maintain productivity.
* Model Akura values, setting an example for the team.
* Support the Manager and Foreman in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
About You
* 3 years' experience in the building industry.
* Experience in leading a team with more than 2 people.
* A natural flair for detailed work such as carpentry, formwork or similar.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a focus on quality, always seeking to deliver your best work.
* A team player with strong communication skills and a positive, can‐do attitude.
* Someone who takes a safety‐first approach in everything you do.
* Someone who identifies and embraces opportunities for improvement.
* Someone who aspires to lead a small team – you won't do this on day one, but over time this is something you'll grow into.
