Weather Systems and the Ocean's Weather
The ocean plays a critical role in tropical cyclone energy production, yet much remains unknown about the intricate dance between the ocean and atmosphere at small scales.
This research project will explore where and how weather systems in the tropics impact, and are impacted by, mesoscale ocean features such as eddies and jets.

The successful applicant will receive a scholarship providing:
* a living allowance stipend of $33,511 per annum for 3.5 years
* a relocation allowance of up to $2,000
* tuition fees offset covering the cost of tuition fees for up to four years (for domestic applicants only)
International applicants may also be eligible for a University Fees Offset for up to four years.
