We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help us accelerate development of our product and shape the long-term architecture of the platform. You'll be a core team member driving features end-to-end (from database design to API to front-end UX) with a strong emphasis on security and compliance.
Tech Stack
* Back-End: Django, Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, Redis
* Front-End: React (Redux optional), Axios
* Tooling: Webpack, Babel, npm/Yarn, ESLint, Prettier
* Testing: pytest, Jest
* DevOps: Docker, GitHub Actions, Gunicorn, Nginx
* Cloud Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, SES, SNS)
Roles & Responsibilities
* Design and implement secure, scalable APIs using Django and DRF.
* Lead the development of responsive front-end components with React.
* Define and evolve architecture with a focus on data security, compliance, and performance.
* Champion secure development practices and contribute to platform compliance efforts (e.g., HIPAA, ISO 27001).
* Collaborate with designers, product managers, and junior engineers.
* Write unit and integration tests (pytest, Jest) and participate in code reviews.
* Set up CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and support automated deployments.
* Manage Docker-based environments for development, staging, and production.
* Support AWS infrastructure and enforce secure configuration and access policies.
Requirements:
Must-have skills:
* 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong emphasis on Django and React.
* Proven experience building RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework.
* Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles including secure API design, data encryption, and authentication best practices.
* Experience implementing or supporting compliance in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, fintech).
* Familiarity with access controls, logging, and monitoring for auditability and breach detection.
* Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization and schema design.
* Comfort with Docker and container-based development workflows.
* Experience writing automated tests with pytest and Jest.
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
* Hands-on experience deploying applications with Gunicorn and Nginx.
Nice to have:
* Experience with AWS security (IAM roles, S3 bucket policies, Secrets Manager).
* Experience with compliance frameworks like HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
* Familiarity with JWT, OAuth 2.0, and SAML.
* Experience with Webpack, Redux, or TypeScript.
* Front-end testing with React Testing Library or Cypress.
