Job Title: Strategic Operations Manager
Job Description:
This is a key leadership role within our organization, responsible for providing strategic and operational support to our education team. The successful candidate will have a strong business acumen and a passion for education, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively under pressure, identifying and solving complex problems and meeting deadlines. They will also possess superior relationship building, negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing skills.
Apart from these, the right person should have experience in consulting, account management or similar, preferably in an educational setting. A tertiary qualification in Business, Education, or a related field would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategy and Leadership – Support the Head of College in strategic planning, performance monitoring, and implementation of key initiatives
* Facilities and Asset Management – Manage property maintenance, capital works, and ensure a safe, high-quality learning environment
* Governance and Compliance – Lead governance processes, risk management frameworks, and ensure compliance with statutory and WHS requirements
* Finance and HR Oversight – Coordinate financial and people services in collaboration with our teams, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency
* Marketing and Communications & Career Development Services – Oversee the execution of marketing and engagement strategies aligned with our goals and support for student transitions through mentoring, work experience, and post-school planning services
Requirements:
* Strong business management and/or administration background
* Proven ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, while identifying and solving complex problems and meeting deadlines
* Superior relationship building, negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing skills
