Job Title: Extrusion Machine Operator (Blow Moulding) Location: Laverton North, VIC Employment Type: Casual ongoing work Pay Rate: $37-$43 per hour (depending on shift) About Us: We are a growing plastics manufacturing company specialising in high-quality blow moulded products. With a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation, we are looking for skilled Extrusion Machine Operators to join our production team. Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion and blow moulding machines Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and production efficiency Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards Record production data and report any issues to supervisors Follow all workplace health and safety procedures Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets Operate forklifts safely for material handling and production support Requirements: Proven experience operating extrusion machinery in a plastics environment Hands-on experience with blow moulding processes Valid LF (Forklift) licence (essential) Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and production plans Good attention to detail and commitment to quality Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required Shift Information: Training will commence on day shift Positions available: 1 x Day Shift 1 x Afternoon Shift What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate with shift-based pay ($37-$43/hr) Stable, long-term employment Ongoing training and development opportunities Supportive team environment Opportunity for overtime How to Apply: If you're motivated, safety-focused, and want to be part of a company leading the way in recycling and sustainability, we'd love to hear from you.
