An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join their team on a Genuine Temp-to-Permanent basis. They are located within the heart of Macquarie Park, close to public transport + free parking and offering 2 days work from home flexibility.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Shared Services Manager and working collaboratively among a close knit team, the role will include but not be limited to:
* Predominately to ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing invoices and expense claims. High volume invoice processing is highly advantageous (average 100 + daily)
* Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
* Weekly payment runs
* Expense management experience
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant regulations.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as procurement and finance teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounts payable procedures and systems.
* Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required by the finance manager or senior management.
About You:
* Previous Accounts Payable experience
* Prior experience processing 100+ invoices daily
* Previous experience with a large ERP software (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle or SAP etc)
* Excellent communication skills, positive attitude, a willingness to provide support in a team environment, and have a keen eye for detail.
