The Role Our clients operate a large-scale family cropping business spanning approximately 10,000 hectares just outside Coonamble in NSW. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cropping who has some prior experience and is eager to expand their knowledge of broadacre systems. Equipped with well-maintained, late-model John Deere and Case machinery, the senior farm hand will be involved in all aspects of the cropping cycle across the enterprise. Much of your time will be spent operating machinery, including precision spraying. Having mechanical aptitude and some fabrication skills will be advantageous, as all staff participate in routine maintenance and repairs of equipment. While holding an MC licence or being willing to work towards it would be beneficial and offer opportunities for additional responsibilities, it is not a requirement for the role.
