Machine operations supervisor

Job Description

Purpose:

* Supervise and coach inspection machine operators to ensure efficient operation of machines through work planning and assignment, job setup, material selection, machine and facility maintenance.



Responsibilities:



* Lead and manage direct reports.
* Participate in the vetting process for new hires.
* Maintain high productivity levels by monitoring efficiency and communicating with team members.



Achievements:

The ideal candidate will ensure that all materials are available at the right time to meet customer demands. This involves effective production scheduling as well as minimizing waste in production processes. The incumbent must be able to operate machinery safely according to established policies while enforcing health safety practices within the workplace environment.
