About the Role
We are seeking a commercially minded and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our growing finance team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting qualified who enjoys partnering with the business, delivering meaningful financial insights, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business performance analysis while helping drive continuous improvement across finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management reports, budgets, and forecasts
* Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
* Support month-end and year-end processes
* Assist with financial planning and variance analysis
* Partner with operational teams to improve financial outcomes
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
* Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and improve processes
About You
* CA/CPA qualified (or working towards qualification)
* Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
* Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
* Advanced Excel and financial systems capability
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
