Senior Manager, Regulatory Engagement & Advice
Job Description
What's the role?
This Senior Manager – Regulatory Engagement & Advice role is responsible for coordinating and delivering high‐quality regulatory engagement across the Business & Wealth Division. The role plays a critical part in managing regulatory and prudential commitments, supporting regulatory submissions, breach reporting, regulatory change assessments, and customer remediation oversight. Working closely with senior leaders, Group Regulatory Affairs and Risk, the role translates complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance and ensures responses are delivered accurately and on time. Operating in a fast‐paced, deadline‐driven environment, the Senior Manager provides strong judgement, proactive risk identification, and disciplined execution while building trusted relationships across a highly matrixed organisation.
What do I need?
* Significant experience in a complex regulatory, risk or compliance environment, ideally within financial services, managing regulatory and prudential commitments end to end.
* Strong ability to interpret and translate complex legislation, regulatory requirements and risk issues into clear, practical advice for senior leaders and executives.
* Proven experience coordinating regulatory responses, submissions, breach reporting or regulatory change across a large, matrixed organisation without direct authority.
* Ability to operate effectively in a fast‐paced, deadline‐driven environment, managing multiple competing priorities while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with sound judgement and confidence to test, challenge and escalation issues early when required.
