Every role in our SSN AUKUS team is helping to deliver essential sovereign capability for Australia.Recognised for delivering projects of global and national significance that help keep Australia safe, it is our shared passion that shapes our culture, and our people that make it a great place to work.About the OPPORTUNITYWe have an exciting opportunity for an Integration and Interoperability Manager to join our AUKUS Program based at Adelaide.We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as hybrid working.Reporting to the Data and Analytics Manager, you will be leading a team of Integration professionals.Key responsibilities include:Architect and manage system integrations, APIs, and interoperability frameworks.Lead development and governance of reusable integration patterns and middleware.Ensure seamless, secure data exchange across system, geographic and security boundaries.Implement quality control, audit logging, data monitoring, and failover mechanisms.Collaborate with security to embed zero-trust principles and encryption in transit.Manage integration with legacy systems and third-party vendors under compliance guidelines.About YOUDemonstrated experience working as an Integration Manager with proven track record of successfully leading a team of Integration professionalsDegree level qualification in Data Engineering / Data ScienceDemonstrated experience with cloud and on-premise data integration solutionsDemonstrated experience with data flow quality patterns across diverse geography and latencyDefence Security clearance or eligibility to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance & ITAR clearance requiredWe believe in hiring for potential, we know that some candidates hesitate if they don't tick all the boxes.
