Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant
Below are the key responsibilities and requirements for this role.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly tax effect accounting and tax reporting requirements for selected entities.
* Organise and coordinate the completion of the Australian Consolidated Income Tax return, including specialist areas such as Transfer Pricing.
* Liaise with external advisers and auditors on tax compliance matters.
* Proactively manage tax payments, including PAYG and withholding tax.
* Prepare and/or review FBT and GST returns for Australia and New Zealand.
* Analyse tax impacts of acquisitions and ensure timely lodgement of related returns.
* Act as the main Tax User/Administrator for key programs.
* Support the tax team with policy, procedure, and system development for tax compliance.
* Contribute to tax projects and process improvement initiatives as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* CPA or CA qualified
* In-house tax experience in a commercial business essential.
* Strong knowledge of Australia income tax
* Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
* Excellent time management, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
