About the Role
As a key member of the Student Wellbeing team, this Administration Officer position plays a vital role in providing front-line administrative support to students and staff.
* Key Responsibilities include:
o Providing administrative support to services such as Counselling, Access and Inclusion, Respect@ND, Student Grievances, and the Student Hardship Assistance Fund.
o Acting as the first point of contact for students and staff, helping with enquiries and making referrals to the right support services.
o Scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings and events, taking minutes, and managing emails and other correspondence.
o Maintaining and updating office records, databases, and registers.
o Triage enquiries from students and ensure they are referred to appropriate services in a timely manner.
o Supporting the national Student Wellbeing team by assisting with projects and events as needed.
o Communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders while adhering to university policies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Familiarity with database management software is highly desirable.
* The ideal candidate will have experience working in an administrative capacity within a student-facing environment.
* Basic IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential.
