We're seeking a proactive and technically skilled Development Engineer to join our Economy, Planning & Environment team. What we trust you to deliver

• Provide engineering advice on development applications and planning proposals (roads, drainage, water, sewer, geotechnical)
• Assess and approve engineering plans, subdivision works, and construction certificates
• Inspect civil works and ensure compliance with approved standards and conditions
• Contribute to development of policies, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Administer bonds and ensure developments meet certification requirements
• Respond to technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions
• Engage with stakeholders including developers, contractors, and internal teams

What you will need to be successful

• Degree in Engineering (Civil or related discipline)
• Eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia

Salary: A salary range from $89,267 to $102,657 + superannuation
