Technician 2, Video Operations Support

Key Responsibilities
* Receives and processes media from content providers
* Ensures that content meets client and broadcast specifications for technical accuracy
* Verifies media and metadata are error‐free and resolves or escalates any errors
* Publishes all media assets and metadata to production environments in alignment with established SLAs
* Validates incoming media and metadata for accuracy and completeness; collaborates with content providers to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with technical specifications
* Identifies and corrects missing or inaccurate metadata to support proper asset placement, discoverability, and display
* Confirms that all content adheres to current formatting, delivery, and metadata standards
* Receives and processes media deliveries from content partners, ensuring timely and accurate ingestion into systems
* Assists VOD Coordinators by investigating and resolving issues identified during content review
* Performs regular audits by comparing scheduled delivery lists against received assets to ensure completeness and accuracy
* Leverages daily metrics and reporting tools to identify delivery gaps and proactively addresses issues with content partners
* Builds and maintains strong working relationships with content partners and internal stakeholders to support seamless operations
* Escalates and troubleshoots technical and operational issues within the video operations workflow to ensure timely resolution
Skills & Experience Requirements
* Analytical & troubleshooting skills: proven ability to identify root causes, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain high standards of accuracy
* Technical proficiency: comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and basic operating system functions, including network and drive mappings
* Organizational excellence: capable of managing multiple priorities, maintaining focus under pressure, and responding promptly to communications across email, Slack, Teams, and other platforms
* Adaptability: able to adjust to shifting business needs and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment
* Flexible availability: willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support operational demands
* Education: High School Diploma or GED
* Relevant work experience: 2–5 years in a similar role

Compensation
Primary location pay range: $23.19 – $34.79 per hour. Pay is determined by job‐related, non‐discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one component of Comcast's total rewards package.
