**Position Overview**
The Human Resources Officer is responsible to the Director Corporate Services for the operational oversight and support of human resources management within Family Planning NSW.
The role requires an experienced Human Resources / Industrial Relations Officer with highly developed management, communication and interpersonal skills, the capacity for innovation and change and the ability to develop and foster a consultative approach.
**Selection Criteria**
**_ Essential_**
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources (or related discipline)
- Experience in human resources management/industrial relations in the health, not for profit and/or government sectors
- Experience in a mix of strategic and 'hands on' generalist role across all HR functions including recruitment, development, policies, performance, remuneration
- Experience in the provision of professional advice on HR issues to senior management
- Experience in human resources management or industrial relations in the health, NFP, government sectors
- Understanding of the processes and procedures of Employment Law and the Fair Work Commission.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
**_ Desirable_**
- Postgraduate qualifications relevant to the role or willingness to obtain
- Eligibility for membership of Australian HR Institute

- A Criminal Record Check is required prior to commencement in this role
