This is a challenging and dynamic role that requires a skilled leader with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. As a Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping and laundry operations across the facility.
You will manage daily operations including room turnovers, communal area upkeep, and personal linen services. This involves coordinating rosters and workloads, conducting quality audits, and supporting staff performance and development.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supervising and motivating a team of Housekeeping Services Assistants to deliver exceptional cleaning and laundry services.
* Managing stock levels and supplier relationships to ensure equipment and materials are always available.
* Liaising with clinical and administrative staff to respond to resident needs promptly and professionally.
Requirements include:
* A certificate in supervisory or frontline management, or equivalent industry experience.
* Proven background in hotel housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or facility services — aged care or healthcare experience is an asset.
* Strong knowledge of safe work systems, WHS, and infection control practices.
* Confident leadership style with excellent communication and team coordination skills.
