Business Development Manager - East Coast - FULLY REMOTE
At Bruce Rock Engineering, we design, build, and maintain road trains and road transport equipment equipped to take on the rugged Australian outback conditions. We are currently seeking an experienced
Business Development Manager
to join our team covering the East Coast of Australia. Our Business Development Manager will drive sales growth by identifying and cultivating relationships with new and existing customers, actively growing Bruce Rock Engineering's market presence and brand within the road transport sector. The location of this role is flexible with the successful candidate able to work from their home anywhere on the East Coast of Australia with regular travel also required. Key responsibilities of this position include:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the road transport trailer manufacturing sector through cold calling, networking, and following up on leads.
Understand clients' specific needs and challenges, offering tailored solutions that align with our industry-leading products.
Cultivate strong relationships with new and existing clients and ensure their ongoing satisfaction.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies.
Assist with the development of new products and models in our range.
Licencing and assistance with customer permits.
Hand over and delivery of new trailers and follow up with customers.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of our product lines and industry trends, effectively communicating the value and benefits of our products to customers.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to strategically position our offerings and capture new markets.
The successful candidate will have:
Relevant trade or Engineering background, and/or degree or diploma in Business Management.
5 years of transportation experience, preferably in sales or business development.
Experience selling capital equipment in a business-to-business environment.
In addition to meeting the requirements above, it will be advantageous to have:
Heavy Combination (HC) driving licence / Multi Combination (MC) driving licence.
