The role of the Management Accountant is to assist with audits, financial reporting, preparation of month end reports, tax (IAS/BAS lodgments) and process improvement. On occasion there will be ad hoc projects which require your involvement.
About you
•You have an accounting qualification such as CA or CPA.
•You have previous financial/management accountant experience in the Insurance industry or an insurance brokerage.
•You have previous experience with month end reporting and understand the timelines involved.
•You have great attention to detail and strong excel skills enabling you to deliver quality work.
•Your time management skills, multi-tasking and proactivity means you meet deadlines
•You might know ACCPAC, but if you don’t, system training is provided.

•Balance sheet reconciliations
•Revenue reconciliations
•Analysis of revenue and expense
•IAS/BAS lodgments
•Assisting with audit and financial reporting
•Process improvements, ad hoc tasks and projects
•Providing support to the AP officer on a seldom/infrequent basis
