Process Support Specialist
This role provides onsite technical support in alignment to contract requirements for our customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing long-standing client relationships, with an intense focus on exceeding client expectations and driving service delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
* Champion a customer-centric approach to deliver hands-on support services.
* Develop and manage technical projects to solve customer problems and drive value.
* Contribute to and promote a safety culture both internally and through client engagement.
* Monitor chemical sales, inventory, and related efficiencies.
* Perform routine diagnostic services, including microbiological testing and paraffin analysis as requested.
* Investigate any material failures.
Safety Responsibilities:
* Adhere to company Safety policies, procedures, and rules and follow safe work practices.
* Participate in team consultation meetings to discuss workplace safety in the department.
* Report any hazards as soon as they are noticed and participate in risk assessments as requested. Assist in the identification of control measures to eliminate or minimize the risk of injury.
* Attend OHS training as required.
* Wear personal protective equipment as required for various tasks and report any worn out or defective equipment.
* Participate in OHS activities such as inspections, investigations, and OHS meetings as required from time to time.
Key Qualifications:
* A Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science, or related Discipline is essential.
* Solid experience in servicing technical products in the oil, gas, and utility chemical market is highly valued.
* A strong focus on safety and business acumen is crucial.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively are vital.
* A valid full driving license is necessary.
