Education Provided – Setting You Up for Success
If you do not have prior management experience or experience with McDonald's, you will be enrolled in our Management in Training (MIT) Program for a period of three months. During this time, you will be paid at the full qualified manager rate from day one—there is no "introduction pay" - If you are learning Management, you deserve to be paid as one.
As part of the MIT Program, you will be allocated 8 hours per week to complete your online training. Your remaining four shifts each week will consist of hands-on, shoulder-to-shoulder training, ensuring you gain practical experience alongside your learning.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Lead a team through busy shifts and support their development
* Oversee restaurant operations, including food safety and customer service
* Manage stock, crew performance, and shift tasks
* Ensure a clean, safe, and inclusive environment
* Deliver great experiences to our customers every day
What We're Looking For
* Aged 18+ with full Australian work rights
* Available for a rotating roster – incl. weekends - (Saturdays are 125% your base rate and Sundays are 150%) & overnights. Note: Unless you specifically request full-time overnight management, you generally only work a few per year - potentially covering sick, training days, and or Annual Leave.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Previous hospitality or management experience is helpful but not essential
* Ability to work across our Toowoomba Region restaurants (including Highfields & Westbrook)
* Willing to complete a police check (we pay for this)
