Planning Administration Officer
Part-time (Approx 26 hours per week) – Permanent Role$36.73 per hour + superannuationFlexible working arrangements available
As Planning Administration Officer, you'll play an important behind-the-scenes role supporting both Statutory and Strategic Planning teams. From maintaining accurate planning records and registers to assisting with public notices and customer enquiries, your work will help ensure planning services are delivered professionally, efficiently and in accordance with legislative requirements.

Key Aspects Of The Role
Planning systems and records management Administer planning application records, permits and online systems to ensure documentation is accurate, up to date and compliant with legislative and Council requirements. Maintain the Public Planning Register and support document control processes to uphold transparency and data integrity.Financial and reporting support Monitor planning-related invoicing and outstanding payments, working collaboratively with Finance to support accurate revenue collection. Assist in collating planning statistics and contributing to monthly reporting to support performance monitoring and informed decision-making.Customer and stakeholder support Respond to written and telephone planning enquiries with professionalism and clarity. Liaise with planners and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate information is provided and enquiries are resolved in a timely manner.Statutory documentation and coordination Prepare public notices, formal correspondence and statutory documentation in line with legislative requirements and procedural timeframes. Support workflow coordination by maintaining awareness of planner workloads and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

We're seeking a proactive and organised administration professional who takes pride in accuracy, confidentiality and high-quality customer service. You'll be comfortable working within established procedures while exercising sound judgement and escalating matters appropriately.
The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate
Experience providing administrative support within a statutory or compliance-driven environment.Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.Well-developed communication skills and the ability to provide clear advice on processes and procedures.Strong technical skills across business systems and document management, risk awareness and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and transparency.
Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in business administration, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office systems, will be highly regarded.
