Metro South Health is seeking an exceptional executive leader to oversee the Logan and Beaudesert Health Service, delivering essential care to one of Queensland's fastest-growing communities.
The Executive Director, LBHS plays a critical role in ensuring Metro South Health's strategic objectives are achieved through strong operational leadership, and a commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care.
Your new role:
As a senior member of the Metro South Health operational leadership team, the Executive Director will:
* Provide strategic and operational leadership across Logan Hospital and Beaudesert Hospital.
* Drive high-quality, safe, efficient and patient-centred care.
* Influence service planning, workforce optimisation, and sustainable delivery models.
* Lead major service expansions and capital works underway and planned.
* Build strong partnerships with clinicians, community, government, and research organisations.
* Ensure effective governance, risk management, and organisational performance.
This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and leads a directorate comprising more than 4,800 staff (3,450 FTE) with an operating budget of approximately $798 million.

* 601-bed teaching hospital + 72-bed alternative care facility
* One of Queensland's busiest emergency departments with >100,000 presentations annually
* Major provider of acute medical, surgical, maternity, rehabilitation, cardiology, renal, and specialty services for adults and children
Beaudesert Hospital
* 28-bed rural hospital with procedural services, birthing services, and general acute care
* Primary healthcare provider for the Beaudesert region
Significant expansions currently underway, with more planned over the next five years by the Queensland Government.
