About the Role

The Technical Sales Specialist – Google Cloud will play a key role in driving adoption, revenue growth, and partner success across the Google ecosystem through our reseller network. They will combine technical expertise with commercial acumen to support partners and customers with cloud and security solutions while building new business opportunities.

Your main responsibilities will be:

* Drive adoption and revenue growth across the Google ecosystem including Google Cloud, Google Workspace, ChromeOS, and security solutions.
* Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities through reseller and channel partners.
* Act as a trusted technical advisor, understanding customer needs and recommending scalable cloud and security solutions.
* Deliver engaging presentations, technical demonstrations, workshops, and Proof of Concept activities.
* Translate technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and executive stakeholders.
* Build and execute joint business plans with Google, partners, and internal teams to achieve growth targets.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with reseller partners and key customers.
* Support partner enablement activities through training, guidance, and ongoing technical support.
* Collaborate with internal sales teams, Google stakeholders, and partners to grow pipeline opportunities and customer acquisition.
* Represent Synnex at customer meetings, partner events, and industry activities.
* Stay current with Google technologies, industry trends, and relevant technical certifications.
Skills and Experience
* 3–5 years' experience in a customer-facing technical sales, pre-sales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting role within a distributor, vendor, reseller, or similar environment.
* Strong cloud platform knowledge, with experience in Google Cloud preferred (AWS or Azure experience also considered).
* Strong cybersecurity knowledge including network security, identity and access management (IAM), endpoint protection, data security, and compliance frameworks.
* Experience with security operations technologies including SIEM and SOAR solutions is highly desirable.
* Relevant cloud certifications preferred, including Google Cloud Professional certifications or equivalent Microsoft/AWS certifications.
* Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical audiences and senior business stakeholders.
* Proven ability to build strong business relationships and manage and grow accounts.
* Strong problem-solving, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
* Understanding of sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or SPIN is advantageous.
* Current driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured personal vehicle is essential.
