As Site Supervisor for our Concrete Recycling & Contract Crushing operations you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of fixed and mobile crushing sites around metropolitan Melbourne. This role is best suited to an experienced leader from the quarry and/or concrete recycling industry.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the quarry and/or concrete recycling industry.
To be successful in this position you will possess the following skills and attributes:
* Understanding of both hard rock crushing and concrete recycling plant/processes
* Exceptional attitude towards implementing safety and quality management systems
* Competent operation of a variety of earth moving and recycling equipment
* Excellent planning and organisational skills
* Effective communication skills to manage various site operations, supplies, subcontractors and personnel
Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring all personnel are suitably competent and trained for their role or task
* Operational performance of site and/or project specific programs
* Material processing and production management
* Assist in managing day to day running of projects to achieve project KPI's
* Oversee implementation of management systems (admin/OH&S/quality/etc.)
* Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and Project Manager
* Liaise with Maintenance Manager to facilitate all plant and equipment servicing and maintenance, and maintain plant and equipment in good condition
* Ensure all OH&S and other site/project compliance requirements are adhered to
* Work to budgets
