Th is role will initially work closely with the Managing Director to offload responsibilities.

The Internal IT Engineer role sits within our Professional Services Team and works alongside the Managing Director.

As the Internal IT Engineer, you will understand the demands of the position, be a champion of our vision and values, support team members and deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders. The Internal It Engineer will monitor and maintain the network and systems used internally by Netier. This role is expected to achieve project KPI's and provide ownership and accountability for our internal IT with exceptional communication with all areas of the business. This role will manage process not people.

Job Description

Key duties and responsibilities:

* Responsible for ensuring Netier staff can work effectively, efficiently and securely
* Account administration and access control set up for all employees
* User onboarding/off boarding
* Responsible for managing all internal networking, applications and systems
* Eliminate any faults within desktop, network and system faults
* Recommend, review and deliver any internal infrastructure upgrades
* Management of business continuity and security
* Escalation point for the support service team
* Work with suppliers to improve service and value for money

Desired Skills and Experience

The Internal IT Engineer requires 5 years+ experience within internal IT Support, ideally in private enterprise. The following criteria must be met:

* Qualification and experience
o Tertiary level qualification, and
o Five years+ experience in internal IT support
* Working knowledge/Experience
o Windows support and troubleshooting experience – Windows 7- 10
o Networking fundamentals knowledge, CCNA or equivalent knowledge preferred
o MS Active Directory/Exchange/SQL
o Virtualisation – VMware (preferred)/HyperV/AHV(preferred)/KVM
* Experience with Connectwise Manage and Connectwise Automate
* Experience in Azure and networking fundamentals would be advantageous
* Strong customer service and problem resolution skills
