About the role
Boltmasters Pty Ltd is seeking expressions of interest for a January 2026 start from an enthusiastic, experienced Sales Representatives to join our dynamic team in Cairns, Queensland. As a full-time Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth while continuing to deliver the exceptional customer service our branch is known for.
What you'll be doing
* Actively engage with potential customers to understand their needs and requirements.
* Present our comprehensive range of products and services, ensuring clients are informed and empowered to make the best purchasing decisions.
* Negotiate pricing and contract terms to secure new business opportunities.
* Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and sales activities.
* Collaborate with the internal sales team to identify and capitalize on new market trends and sales leads.
* Reporting to the Branch Manager of trends and customer feedback.
What we're looking for
* The candidate is preferred to have 2-3 years of sales experience. Fastening knowledge is welcome, as is any trade background and experience.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
* Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills to overcome objections and close sales.
* Motivated self-starter with a keen interest in the sales process and a desire to exceed targets.
* Proficient in keeping log entries of client interactions and order taking.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
