The Opportunity We are looking for a diligent and enthusiastic Manager, Academic Integrity to partner with our Pro-Vice Chancellor, Quality and Integrity on the strategic implementation of solutions to complex academic integrity challenges.
Working closely with an academic integrity network of senior Learning & Teaching, Library, and Academic Misconduct and Complaints Management colleagues, you'll manage a range of high-level academic integrity related tasks including promoting a culture of award integrity, developing policies and procedures, providing staff support and education, managing strategic projects, and more.
We are looking for someone with great personal skills, candidness and who is open to new ideas and approaches to academic integrity. This role is ideal for someone familiar with investigating and monitoring academic integrity issues, experienced in guiding academic staff to implement best practice solutions, and/or someone who can provide leadership in award integrity.
* Extensive expertise handling complex matters in higher education (including projects and staff education), preferably relating to curriculum design, academic and/or award integrity
* The ability to work independently while working to strategic goals
* A continuous improvement mentality with a willingness to be open-minded about new ways of thinking about academic integrity, and new processes and approaches
* Calm and supportive personal manner with an ability to have supportive but courageous conversations with academic staff
* Previous exposure to curriculum design or development would be an advantage in this process
