As the market leader in providing these resources in Australia, we focus on creating an exceptional experience for our clients through high quality products, exceptional customer service & support.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a performance-focused Digital Ads & CRO Specialist to manage paid advertising campaigns and drive continuous conversion optimisation across our websites and landing pages.
You will also support the broader marketing team through data analysis and actionable insights across channels.You will be responsible for:Managing Google and Microsoft AdsImproving website and landing page conversions through testingBuilding dashboards and reports that drive decisions across the teamYou'll report to the Digital Campaign Manager and work closely with Creative, Content, SEO, Product Marketing, CRM, and Web teams.This role is structured for approximately 3 days of Ads + CRO, and 2 days of Analytics, Competitor Tracking, and Campaign Support, ensuring a full and meaningful 5-day work weekYOUR RESPONSIBILITIESDigital AdvertisingPlan, build, and manage ad campaigns on Google and Microsoft AdsConduct targeting, keyword research, bidding, and audience segmentationWrite and test ad copy; brief creatives to designersMonitor and optimise campaigns for CTR, CPA, CPL, and ROASReport weekly performance metrics and suggest improvementsStay updated on platform changes and advertising trendsTrack and improve landing page and funnel conversion performanceIdentify friction points using tools like GA4, VWO, or Microsoft ClarityPlan and run A/B tests on landing pages, CTAs, forms, and layoutsCollaborate with the Web Dev and UX team on implementationDocument results and present actionable insightsAnalytics & Marketing InsightsBuild and maintain dashboards in GA4, Looker Studio, or Zoho AnalyticsAnalyse trends across ads, email, SEO, and social campaignsInvestigate performance drops or anomalies and surface insightsWork with CRM/Data team to track lead sources and qualityRecommend tracking improvements in GA4, UTM usage, and event taggingMonitor competitor advertising trends, offers, keywords, and creativeShare monthly insight snapshots with marketing and product teamsTrack VET sector market trends that may inform campaign strategyESSENTIAL – you must possess these skills:3+ years experience in Google and/or Microsoft Ads (Search, Display, Retargeting)Robust analytical skills and performance tracking mindsetExperience running A/B tests using VWO and identifying CRO opportunitiesFamiliarity with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and UTM trackingWorking knowledge of dashboarding tools like Looker Studio or Zoho AnalyticsExcellent attention to detail, written English, and QA abilityExperience collaborating with design, content, and dev teams DESIRABLE – bonus if you have experience with:Experience with LinkedIn Ads and B2B targetingUse of Hotjar, Crazy Egg, Microsoft Clarity, or similarGoogle Ads certificationFamiliarity with WordPress or landing page buildersKnowledge of SEO principles or email performance analysisExperience with CRM tools like ActiveCampaignKPI – your performance will be based on targets for:Digital AdsCTR (Click-Through Rate)CPA (Cost Per Acquisition)ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)Conversion Volume from Paid ChannelsAd Quality ScoresLanding Page Conversion RateFunnel improvements & test impactBounce rate reductionTime-on-page/session improvementsA/B test frequency and documentation qualityAnalytics & InsightsDashboard accuracy and consistencyInsights generated and adopted by the teamAnomaly detection and action response timeReporting completeness and clarityWhen you apply, please make sure to include:ReferencesPortfolio of sample workWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
